And only 18 kilometres from Cangas de Onís, the ancient capital of Asturias which has had a traditional market every Sunday for 2 centuries. There are also Michelin starred restaurants in the area such as Casa Marcial y El Corral del Indianu.

It is well connected to the coast and mountains; the coast and beaches of Espasa and La Isla are 20 kilometres away, and only 13 kilometres from Mirador de Fito. Parque Nacional de Picos de Europa and Covadonga are 25 kilometres away. The historical cities of Oviedo, Avilés and Gijón one hour away, with the airports of Ranón (Asturias) at 100 kilometres and Santander at 135 kilometres.
