The house is located 8 kilometres from Arriondas, famous for being the starting point of the annual canoe race Descenso internacional del río Sella, which takes place every August. And only 18 kilometres from Cangas de Onís, the ancient capital of Asturias which has had a traditional market every Sunday for 2 centuries. There are also Michelin starred restaurants in the area such as Casa Marcial y El Corral del Indianu.
