Although close to the highway this does not disturb the house at all, as you hardly hear it and don’t see it; it only provides good access with the nearest exit only 7.5 kilometres/ 10 minutes away. The pretty seaside town of Ribadesella is only 6 kilometres away, with the lovely beach of Santa Marina and along the river mouth of the famous River Sella, and small fishing port providing fresh fish and seafood to the many restaurants.
Good connections for mountains too, Parque Nacional de Picos de Europa mountain range is only 30 kilometres. The vibrant historic towns of Oviedo, Avilés and Gijón are an hour away, and Santander airport just over an hour.
