This high specification townhouse sits on a clifftop in the fishing village of Puerto de Vega. This luxury, open-plan home was completely rebuilt in 2009. The renovation used the original 1890’s house with one metre thick slate stone walls that are now beneath a new internal finish resulting in a bright, spacious, four storey, split level home, with 9 Juliet balconies, as well as sea facing balcony and terrace. There are sea views from all floors, including the main lounge with a single-pane panoramic window. The sea facing dramatic cliff facade faces the morning sun and the upper terrace also enjoys afternoon sun.
There is a private guest suite with separate entrance and own bathroom, garage, laundry room, and bathrooms on every floor. The principal bedroom suite has a large day-lit dressing area as well as a double en-suite bathroom. Top quality construction and materials have been used throughout including storm quality windows with marble cills; surgical grade stainless steel external handrails; high level of insulation; double thickness Portuguese marble floating stairs; and solid wood floor with acoustic insulation. Additional details include kitchen food disposal system, connected alarm (motion and entry), energy efficient LED lighting with emergency lights, and kitchen ceiling with double step to contain smoke in the case of fire. Heating is natural gas.
Whilst the entire house is impeccably presented, there remains the possibility to strip the interior main walls to reveal the original slate stone, an example of which has been left rising past the main stair.
All of the current designer furniture and artwork will be removed leaving a tabula rasa in terms of personal style, using the white wall finishes as a base palette.
